September Haul

10:57

Firstly, I just want to say, this may include some items that I purchased in August but I feel like "August & September Haul" was a bit of a long title for this blog post, so please excuse the time-frame in which these were purchased. This is quite a random haul, with an array of homeware, gym clothing and a few beauty products.

Next Home is an absolute dream. I simply cannot go in store without purchasing something, whether thats a £2 candle or a large photo frame, I am completely obsessed with the style of their interiors and decorations. To be real, I went in for a pack of car air fresheners (the ever so stunning smelling White Jasmine - which can I say, smell insanely good and as I'm driving along, I suddenly smell it, and it is amazing). I came out of the store with a large peg string photo frame, the initial white jasmine car air fresheners, a white jasmine candle and an alarm clock. I had been looking for a way to present some of my favourite memories, e.g. concert/train tickets, Polaroids, etc. and when in the queue for the tills to pay, I spotted both the perfect peg photo frame and an adorable mini chrome clock and had to add them to my increasing shop.

(Mini Chrome Alarm Clock, £10, Next Home) (White Jasmine Candle, £3, Next Home) (White Jasmine Pack of 2 Air Fresheners, £2, Next Home) (Zoella Lifestyle Sweet Dreams Cushion, £18, Superdrug) (Photo Peg Frame, £16, Next Home - BELOW)

Ladder shelves have recently become more popular and I honestly love the trend, I love the style of them and how minimalistic they can look in a room, holding decorations of varying sizes. Having researched various websites, including Amazon, even in Sainsbury's Home - but I wanted a relatively large one and after hours of research, I found the perfect shelves on Matalan's website. So after I had finished redecorating my room, I went to my local store and picked it one up. I was super impressed by the homeware in Matalan, as the whole store had been redone since I went in last (years prior).

(Storage Ladder Shelves, £30, Matalan)

(USA Pro Tops, 2 for £18, £12 each, Sports Direct) (PINK Sport Bras, Victorias Secret) (Hollister Gym Leggings, £15, Hollister Outlet)

I recently signed up for a Gym membership, so I wanted to purchase some gym outfits as I was just wearing a normal vest top, so I wanted something cooler and more exercise-appropriate. I went into my local Sports Direct for specialist tops - cooling/breathable, and found a 2 for £18 deal, as well as some LAGear leggings on sale for only £5. I would definitely recommend checking out Sports Direct if you wanted some good quality fitness clothing.

I love a Yankee Candle. I especially enjoy a Yankee Candle Outlet Store. The store I went into had an insanely good sale on, with most candles half price, I had to contain myself for my own sanity and my bank balance. I did have to pick up a Yankee Candle wax melt in the scent Snow In Love, because they were so cheap, I wish I had picked up more, because when I got to the till, it was only 45p! I also picked up some festive car air fresheners for just £2.49 because you can't go wrong with a pack of 3 Christmas-scented air fresheners. I am very excited to put one in my car (I won't put my one in there yet, but as soon as it's November...).

(Vanilla Pumpkin Shower Gel, £5, The Body Shop) (Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter, £15, The Body Shop) (Vanilla Pumpkin Hand Cream, £5, The Body Shop)

I did mention this little lucky find in my last blog post - http://inspireddaydream.blogspot.co.uk/2017/09/happy-autumn-2017.html - I found a gift set of the brand new Autumn/Winter 2017 scent from The Body Shop. I had already bought the hand cream in the new festive scent and completely fell in love with the sweet pumpkin autumnal scent. I would definitely recommend heading to a TBS outlet, because I couldn't believe the savings from the set - almost £10 off, especially as its a new collection! Their body butters are so classic and well-known for their amazing quality, I find they really sink into the skin and give your skin a perfect moisturised softness - and alone it is £15, so I got so lucky with the £16.25 set! But I would definitely recommend  have a smell of the new Vanilla Pumpkin range if you love an autumnal yet sweet scent!

(Bath and Body Works Pocket Bacs - Winter, Fresh Sparkling Snow, Tis The Season, Paris, Sunset, Iced White Pomegranate, Happy Halloween, Cool Coconut Colada, A Thousand Wishes and Lil Cutie Pie)

Technically I only purchased 4 out of 10 of these hand sanitisers from Bath and Body Works because the other 6 were kindly sent to me by a very kind fellow Instagrammar, along with a variety of BABW gentle foaming hand soaps. If you have ever been to Bath and Body Works, you will understand why I mention my deep sadness that the brand isn't in the UK. It is intensely good.

(Zoella Beauty Snowella Body Mist, 100ml, £12, Superdrug)

I was unbelievably excited to pick this up from my local Superdrug because I am a huge fan of Zoe's fragrances, and I'm also a Christmas fanatic, I loved last years Christmas scent so I was really looking forward to smelling the new Snowella one! This year it comes in a limited edition 100ml bottle, and the packaging (as always) is insanely beautiful, I can safely say it's actually my favourite Zoella Beauty packaging ever!

(Zoella Beauty Treasure Me Christmas Gift Collection, £40 originally, Superdrug)

I didn't want to show too much of this gift set as I want to write a whole blogpost reviewing all the products inside for the new Zoella Beauty Christmas 2017 range, but my mum kindly bought this for me for helping her out recently. When we ordered it, it was £30, and is still priced with a discount at £30 on Superdrug.com currently so I would hurry if you wanted to pick this up as the deal is limited! All the products are full size, which is ideal, and the price of each item separately means this deal is definitely worthwhile.

The gift set features:
  • Winter WonderHand Hand Cream, (£6.00 sold separately)
  • Snow Scoop Bubble Bath
  • Snow Silky Body Lotion
  • Splash of Milk Bath Powder
  • Snow Smooth Body Butter
  • Snow Polished Body Polish
  • Snow Fresh Body Wash
  • Zoella Bath/Shower Scrubber/Sponge

(Nutella B-Ready Bars, £1.30, Sainsbury’s)

I saw these in one of Zoe’s vlog recently while she was in Mykonos, and said how obsessed she was with these and how she was so sad they weren’t available in the UK. However I then saw an advert on TV for them, and when I was doing my food shopping in Sainsbury’s last night, I thought I would have a look in the biscuit aisle, and finally after a long and strenuous search past the digestives and shortbread, I noticed only three packs left! I tried one last night, and I can honestly say, if you like Kinder Buenos, you are going to love these. They’re bigger with added crunch, and generally really tasty, I’m quite fussy with food and I don’t like wafers but for reason, I really like these!

(Leaves 3 Wick Candle, Bath and Body Works, $22.50 originally / £23.99, EBay)

I am a Bath and Body Works fanatic, they’re so denying that, so I am constantly on eBay looking at the various BABW products that people are selling in the UK. And recently I saw a Leaves 3 wick candle, a scent that I know is so many people’s favourite, so I really wanted to smell it! I ordered it on eBay for around £23.99 with free delivery/collection, and what I love about eBay is that you can pick things up from your local Argos which is ideal because I’m not always home so I don’t want to risk a “We Missed You” delivery note through the door.

The scent of this is strong it came through the box before I had even opened it, it’s such an autumnal, warm scent - “spiced berries, Red Delicious apple, and golden nectar”. Bath and Body Works are so great at capturing scents to make up their name.

I haven’t tried this yet but I really needed some new lip balms as I had run out of my beloved Maybelline BabyLips and EOS. So when in Sainsbury’s last night, I picked up some Palmers lipbalms, which were all on offer for £1. I picked up an EOS-style sphere lip balm which flips open, and an actual chapstick.
