6.) Body Spray. Sticking to a beauty theme, I have really enjoyed this Soap & Glory fragrance, it's super sweet, floral and pretty. (Can you even describe a scent as 'pretty'?) This is my favourite of the Soap & Glory body spray collection for sure, and I would definitely recommend as they're so cheap and smell amazing!

Now Summer has officially started for me, I wanted to make a Summer Bucket List for things I want to do by September before I go back to college. So here is my 2016 Summer Bucket List so far...

1.) Have a picnic with friends. 

I really love being outside in the sunshine, because in England, we need to take advantage of the rare sunshine we get every year! I also love just chilling and seeing friends, so this summer I want to arrange a day where I meet with some friends and we have a really nice picnic in a little field. As a child, I don't really remember having too many picnics in the summer, so I'm really excited to arrange one. Grab a blanket, some nice food and chilled drinks and just listen to music and chat. 

2.) Go to London

I don't live too far from the city of London, so I really love having the occasional day out there. Usually I'm there just for shopping in an indoor shopping centre, but I really want to just explore the city (Central London) and actually just walk around. I really love exploring and seeing the city, (as I've mentioned in my previous blogpost "Love London". 

3.) Go to Brighton 

On a similar theme of exploring some of my favourite places, I want to visit Brighton. I went last summer and I absolutely adored it. The pretty lanes and the dainty and unique shops and the totally Instagram-worthy shop windows and little restaurants are so gorgeous. There's something so calming about Brighton - maybe just being so close to the sea. I can't wait to visit again! 

4.) Strawberry Picking 

Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits ever, and I really want to go to a Pick Your Own farm. Choosing the best strawberries! Talking about this makes me want strawberries and cream so badly. I will definitely be making a trip to a local P.Y.O. farm! 

5.) Read more. 

As a child, I was definitely a "book worm" and my head was constantly in a new book. But these last few years I haven't been reading much at all. In fact I can't remember the last book I read. However, since YouTuber, Zoe (Zoella) brought out her book club with WHSmith, I decided to purchase some of them and read them this summer! I also have to read a book for A Level English, so I have a lot to read over the next month! 

6.) Start and finish a series. 

I'm not really into any series on Netflix or on TV, as I mostly watch YouTube videos, however I really want to get hooked on a new series. 

7.) Bake!

Recently, YouTuber Tanya Burr brought out a baking book called Tanya Bakes and it's really inspired me to bake more! Looking through her book has made me determined to create some of the amazing and delicious recipes! I did attempt to make the Lemon Drizzle Loaf...note the word 'attempt'. It failed completely. But practise makes perfect!  Victoria Sponges are my favourite so I might attempt that next time! 

8.) Go on Bike Rides

Every summer for like 3 years, my friend and I have gone on days out on our bikes. We've cycled miles and miles, and I really want to do it again this summer! It's so much fun and I like exploring but keeping fit at the same time!

9.) Plan some future things.
I am going into my last year of college in September, and I need to start planning for the future. University. I need to look at Unis. Think about what I want to do. Careers. Adulthood. Scary.

10.) Blog more!
I've been way more regular with uploading blog posts recently, and I'm really enjoying it! I've also worked on my template and aesthetic of my blog and I'm really happy with it and I hope you like it too! I really would love a regular audience who I can communicate with and who actually like my blog! I think my blog posts will generally be uploaded every Saturday. Or Friday... any suggestions (Comment if you wish!)

2.) IISuperwomanII: Lilly Singh. Once again, Lilly is one of the biggest female YouTube creators, with currently over 9 million subscribers. She's one of my favourite YouTubers, as she is very influential and inspiring, I also love her humour and recently I've subscribed to her vlog channel (SuperwomanVlogs) and have been loving every video since I pressed the Subscribe button.



3.) Mark Ferris: Mark is one of the funniest people with such a nice personality. I found out about Mark from one of Zoe's videos last year, and ever since I've been obsessed with his videos. He seems so genuinely lovely, his videos and social media are so positive - he deserves so many more subscribers!



4.) Fabulous Hannah: Hannah is a more recent part of my subscription box, and once again, Hannah seems like a really nice person, and she's super funny in general which just makes me smile so much. She is also so beautiful (inside and out - wow that's cheesy!) and our style is very similar and I can just relate to her so much as we're the same age. She also has a vlog channel, (More Fab Han) which I really love. For some reason, most of the time, I prefer the vlogs rather than main videos with the majority of the YouTubers I watch.



5.) NikiNSammy - Niki and Sammy Albon are some of my absolute favourite YouTubers (and PEOPLE) ever - because when I say 'YouTubers' it's simply a brief term I use, not to alienate but to simply paraphrase. They are two of the funniest people to exist, and I love their videos and editing style so much, they never fail to make me laugh! The 'Twins Carpool' series on their channel is my absolute favourite thing ever, and I went through a phrase when they were uploaded, where I watched all of them every single day. Last month I was lucky enough to meet them at the Future Breakers event in London and got to spend the most insanely surreal hour with them, just chatting and hanging out. I even vlogged my experience. My legs were shaking. It was just so surreal to see two of my role models in front of my eyes, giving me a hug, talking about abbreviating words. It was one of my favourite days ever.

I just really love YouTube, and over the years my friends have told me I should start my own channel, I'm quite shy and awkward so I don't know how I'd feel about being in front of the camera as oppose to the safety of behind it. But maybe one day.

It's been a while. 

I apologise, but right now, I want to discuss my day and my love for the city of London. 

I live less than 2 hours away from the bustling, wonderfully exciting city that is so different from my own home town. 

Yesterday, I spent the day in London, one of my favourite places to spend my day. I went out for lunch with my friend and we had a table by the window, and I realised in the 50 minute wait for our food that I love to people watch. And London, one of the busiest cities, was full of so many people, tourists mainly. All with individual lives and individual stories, and individual style. It was so interesting to see. 

After lunch, we headed to Oxford Street. A street full of shops and beautiful buildings (see photos attached). As fans of Lush (the brand known for their bath bombs that are against animal testing), we immediately searched for Lush. I was well aware of the exclusive products only found in the Oxford Street Lush, so I was excited to pick up a few exclusive things I wouldn't be able to get in my local store. 

Once looking around both floors, getting far too warm, tripping over in the excitement and smelling way too many products that I had a permanent scent of flowers up my nose, I decided to just buy one exclusive item. I chose the  "Cherry Blossom" bubble bar, which can be re-used for multiple bath moments.

After walking around Oxford Street in the rare sun for a while, and a quick browse in H&M Home, we decided to head back to the train station. A few tubes later, a stop at Boost Juice for the most delicious 'Berry Blast' smoothie, and we were back on the train. The unusually clean train was freezing, but the journey concluded a lovely day in my favourite city.
